Sarah Potempa The Beachwaver Review

Sarah Potempa The Beachwaver was suggested to me by a friend and it worked better than she had described. Every time I see her she has that straight out of the salon perfect hair – I wanted to know her trick.

The Beachwaver

The Beachwaver is an innovative motorized ceramic rod curling iron. It can heat up to the professional temperature of 450 degrees, though this is not the temperature for everyone. The directions show the recommended temperatures for different hair types so you can choose the one that is best for you.

I am not very good with styling products so I was a little worried about attempting to use a motorized iron. After just a few practice pieces I was able to master the technique. I should mention that I have very thin, short hair and it doesn’t take curl easy.

There are left and right buttons to choose for each side of your head, as well as the GO button when you have your hair clamped in an ready to curl. I liked the fact that I was able to control the speed of the spin with the button, especially since my hair is not very long.

The process to curl my hair took about 5 minutes and I think it looks like I had it done by my stylist. I generally do not get these kind of results on my own.

The Sarah Potempa Beachwaver is available online for purchase as well as at Ulta. Watch the 2 minute video to see how easy it really is.
