Ice Standard with Smart911 could save your life. This free application places all of your emergency health information on the lock screen of your iPhone, giving emergency personal your medical and contact info even when your cell is in lock mode.

We downloaded this application after speaking with an emergency professional regarding what they look for when they arrive at the scene of an emergency. Many people have an ICE contact in their phone, but because most people have their phone locked the emergency responders have no access to phone contacts.

With this application you can choose which of the following information to show up as wallpaper on your lock screen:
Emergency Contacts #’s
Gender
Birth Date
Blood Type
Health Conditions
Medications
Allergies
Insurance Info

ICE Standard has partnered with Smart911 so you can register your cell phone number.  When you call 911 from your cell phone, emergency responders can see your ICE information in Smart911 enabled communities.

When an emergency situation occurs the more information the EMT’s have the better chance they have at saving your life or the life of your loved one. This information also allows them to quickly have the number of your emergency contact.
