How to Make Foaming Hand Soap: Want to save a bunch of money on hand soap? This is so easy and as long as you are making yourself some you might as well make a bottle for a friend too.

If you were to buy foaming hand soap in the store it would run you anywhere from $2.50 – $3.50 per bottle. Never throw away empty foaming bottles, save them and make your own.

Simply pour 2 tbs of regular hand soap into your foaming hand soap container and fill the rest with water. Shake gently and it is ready to use.

I tried this about a month ago and was worried that the mixture would separate while sitting, but it didn’t.  My DIY foaming soap has worked great every time.

My Earth Friendly hand soap was $3.49 for 17 oz. I will be able to make 8 bottles of foaming hand soap from this one bottle. That is a savings of between $17.00-$20.00 just using the one bottle of hand soap.

You can also add a few drops of essential oils to your soap to add a pleasant fragrance. Don’t want a plastic bottle sitting next to your beautiful sink? Go for a fancier look and purchase a reusable foaming bottle.
