Decorative Yarn Balls

DIY Decorative Yarn Balls: Easy and fun project! All you need is an empty basket a couple of rubber balls and some leftover yarn.

This really is really as simple as it looks. Start out by securing the yarn to the ball.  Tie a knot at your first pass or you can also secure it with a piece of tape. Go around your ball in every direction, making sure that you can’t see any part of the ball. When the ball if fully covered you can knot off the end piece and tuck it in.

What’s fun is doing all different sizes and colors. If you have a small ball and want to make it bigger just keeping going around it with yarn until it gets to be the size you are looking for.

Thanks to our friend Lisa for sharing her yarn project with us! We are always looking for quick and easy DIY decorative projects. If you have an idea for us leave us a comment below.
