Colgate-Palmolive Customer Satisfaction: Defective products happen to all companies, what sets a company apart is how they deal with customers who let them know they received a less then perfect product.
We recently purchased a product from the Colgate-Palmolive Company that upon using was determined to be defective. Instead of just getting upset and tossing it, we sent the company a quick email telling them the product we had purchased and what was wrong with it.
Colgate-Palmolive Company responded in the way all companies should. Within a couple of hours we received a response from them apologizing for the defective product and let us know they would be sending out a coupon for us purchase another one as well as a postage paid return envelope so they could determine what had gone wrong with the one we purchased.
In less than a week I received a package from Colgate-Palmolive. The postage paid return envelope was included with directions on how to easily return the defective piece. The package also included a coupon for not 1 but 2 of the products we had purchased as well as additional coupons totaling nearly $20.00.
We are very pleased with the great customer service and quick response by Colgate-Palmolive and will continue to use their products in our home.
