If you are on a high-protein low-carb diet or just watching your carbs in general, then this All Protein Meatloaf Recipe is for you.
Ingredients:
1 Lb Grass fed beef
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 (4oz) can tomato sauce
1/3 cup crushed fried pork skin
1 egg
2 1/2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp garlic pepper seasoning
1/4 medium white onion
1/4 bell pepper
Baking directions: First preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In large bowl add, grass fed beef, bell peppers, onions, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, crushed pork skins and eggs.
Season your meat mixture with chili powder, garlic salt and garlic pepper seasoning. Mix meatloaf until thoroughly blended.
In a greased loaf pan, form meat into a loaf shape. Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
This low carb loaf of meat had a nice spice to it but was missing some flavor. It was good, but could be better. Perhaps adding more onion (or sauteed onion) along with a bit more herbs and seasoning. Play around with it and let us know what you did to improve what we did.
